Adam cared about Lute, and I would even say he had sincere feelings for her.

In the first episode we see and hear that Adam commanded Lilith to submit and surrender to him (He probably did the same with Eve and that bitch listened to him)

However, in the episode where Charlie and Vaggie come to heaven, Lute is seen telling him to shut up, and he does. He let her control him. He never let anyone do that.

+ He smiled at her as he died, which is my eternal argument for his feelings lol.

+v.2 - Jessica and Alex have said many times that there are feelings between the couple, big or small, but they are romantically interested in each other.
