THOTH is a challenging twin-stick shooter you can conquer alone or cooperatively with a friend. Each stage is handcrafted to test coordinati
it's like, a dollar until some time on the 17th, it's a pretty cool twin stick shooter.
that being said, it was also probably the first twin stick shooter i've ever played and i don't know if i'll play another. i just really liked 140 and the guy that made 140 made THOTH
AKA had to doodle possibly every single protagonist/ player character that's a shape AND is from a music based/ rhythm game or just a game with really good music.
Every single character and their game, from top left to bottom right underneath the cut:
Red and yellow octahedron with cyan rings: Jumpie/ protagonist from JUMPGRID
White circle with diamond "ears": Player character from THOTH
Black cylinder: Player character from 140
Cyan square, orange circle, yellow triangle and green pentagon: Players from Just Shapes and Beats
Pink square with three smaller white squares behind it: Nanobot from Project Arrhythmia
Pinkish red triangle: "Player" from Super Hexagon
Magenta cube: Player from Vectronom
White circle with purple and white rounded triangles: Player from Rhythmy
found out about these two games called "140" and "THOTH" [linked to trailers on YouTube] and like. out of any games i should pause development for, i should probably snag these games and play them because
game i'm making is minimalist and audiovisual
140 and THOTH are minimalist and music driven/audiovisual (respectively)
and also surprisingly mezmerizing
