I will really miss this manga. I feel like it's the end of an era, namely KH era, in my life. Nanami and Tomoe's story is like one of those folktales that gets talked around for centuries. It's partly slice-of-life and supernatural romance, a wonderful journey. They fought hard for their happy ending!

Tomoe said that he's glad he became human. He and Akura-ou are not lonely as well anymore. Even by the looks of it, they're living life happily. 

On a different note, Tomoe slips up and says that Kurama is coming down from the Tengu Mountain soon!!! You know what that means guys! Ami is not married it seems and is most definitely waiting! Everyone's thrilled of course XD 

We all know that Tomoe and Nanami will come back to the shrine. I think it’s important that they both went out to the world and came to experience life away from the supernatural. It’s a kind of peace that Mikage wishes for them and which I think is a peace they needed after all the crap they went through. I know it’s kind of bittersweet, but this manga has always given importance to being human, the strengths and weaknesses of this certain species which is a conundrum to our great youkai duo, Tomoe and Akura-ou. 

Anyway, on a very different note, I will be donating a copy of the full raws to Sky of Snow for them to scanlate since I’m working on other projects right now as well. Furthermore, I’m already working on the subs for the Epilogue OAD! It’s really short (12 mins...) and I’m really salty about that, but in the end, I’m fine I guess. They clearly expended their budget on the Wedding procession! In the end, my heart is satisfied. (KH deserves a better anime adaptation, yes, but it’s not always bad. I just wish they didn’t cut it too short! But yeah, this is reality and nothing ever happens the way we want it to happen T_T) The rest of the DVD actually talks about Suzuki-sensei’s drawing process, etc. We will sub that later, but the main Epilogue will be what we’re working on for now~
