so - little things that would have been fixed if jtv was clear about things from the beginning and consistent:
luisa, as emilio’s only biological child, should have gotten the hotel conglomerate in s1. she gave petra custody of her shares when she left then, petra already owned 1/3 of the marbella, luisa would have all those other hotels to run, and she probably would have either given petra full custody of the marbella or tried to fix the family feuding by giving petra a different hotel and letting raf keep the marbella and deal with the conglomerate stuff. depending on how upset she was with him when he tried to talk business after emilio’s funeral (which would be funny because he couldn’t be in the board meeting with petra because he wouldn’t have any shares in the hotel).
rose ran a huge drug business for years before marrying emilio and going underground. she ran a plastic surgery ring after that and made who knows how much money. to initiate her escape protocol, all luisa had to do was deposit money into a specific account in the caymans.
luisa had her name on and access to all of rose’s accounts.
it is hard for me to believe that between all of luisa’s money and all of rose’s money she didn’t have enough to just pop rose right out of jail. so it makes no sense for her to be trying to sell the marbella off in season four - why did rose wait to remind her about the accounts? did she not realize luisa had forgotten? and given that luisa was taking what appears to be months to get rose out of jail, it seems that rose might have brought that up with her in some form or fashion (especially since s4b and beyond shows that rose has contacts outside of jail that can get in contact with luisa or raf).
and if luisa had gotten rose out immediately, then she probably would’ve left the marbella in anezka or petra’s hands. and probably told anezka that if magda was being a shithead to get in contact and she’d see if she could take care of it. like.
