Insted of “think positive” then “stay positive”.. I want to think and believe that we start with happiness and positivity, so we should keep going down that road insted of starting out being sad and negative 🙏🏻
Lebewohl
In German,
we say “Lebewohl”, and technically it means “goodbye.”, but translated by word it means: “live well” and it always makes my heart ache.
It is like an open ending to a book.
What will happen to us? Will we see each other again? Are you just telling me to take care or is there more? Is it a motivation?
I always think there is something hidden behind this goodbye,
something very sad but beautiful.
Life
I was taught about the difference between those Who respire and those who breath Does the word ‘living’ and ‘not dead’ are the same? Teach me how to shed a tear, Fill me up with something so loveable that this heart stops to ache Crush me with something so that I know this body has a soul Enlighten me to feel the pain To know that this is not just skin and bones But has a heart that…

Telling The Truth
As Kids, this may probably be the first code of conduct we may have received. “Tell the truth”, or “never lie”. It was actually ‘The rule’. “सत्यं वद!” It always echoed in our conscience. The Upanishads, the Puranas, the epics and a handful of later stories, every one of these sang the anthology of Values like truth and Righteousness. Reared in a traditional Hindu family in India, bedtime…

Ah, life!
Ah life, it’s an abundantly tricky balance. It comes in leaps and swirls, it comes in peaceful serenity, it comes in joyous moments, times of sadness and times of utter disbelief. But here we are all in it. Together.
To me it is not a strange thought to always want to level up, to improve, to expect the best of not only myself but of others too – but geez, it’s not always that easy is it? For we…

EX6: Patterns: Notice the Stories Going on Around You
Have you ever walked through a crowd of people with your own concerns and struggles playing on repeat in your head, over and over again? Like, you can be in a sea of people, yet remain only interested in what’s going on with you? And you do this, not because you’re selfish, but because it’s easy to fall into this pattern, especially when you have a lot going on. For instance, when I'm stressed out with school, I pay less attention to what’s going on in people’s social lives, and more attention to getting things done. I have a list, I check things off one by one, and I remain in my own bubble in order to stay focused. But, this occurrence is unfortunate. I love being invested in people’s lives, even when it’s just a stranger I pass by on the street. I enjoy paying attention and playing the game of figuring them out. So, it’s fun to be in the midst of chaos because sometimes, when you’re lucky, a strange realization consumes you. You begin to realize that other people are on their own journeys too. Other people are living their own lives, like they too might be at the center of the world’s attention (in their own mind’s at least). They wake up every morning, go to class or school, get stressed out about tasks they have to complete at a certain time, worry about friendships and relationships, think about what they’re going to eat for their next meal, etc., etc.just like you do. When that happens, I step back and realize that my worries aren’t as important as I once thought they were. There are much bigger things going on in this world. Yet, it’s easy to get swept up in your own selfish concerns, and forget that the rest of the population have lives of their own too. So, sometimes it’s hard to notice the stories going on around you, especially in the midst of this chaotic life, but, when you do, it’s a wonderful feeling. It’s good to know that you’re not alone in this world. There are millions of people going through the same struggles as you; going through the motions, living in patterns, and doing whatever it takes to get from one place to the next.
