                                                        THE SILENCE BEFORE A BIG REVEAL  is a tenser  one for those involved than the movies & TV make it out to be   ---  a million hypotheticals cross his mind  &  the skin on the back of his neck prickles.     nerves ,  sensing danger that may or may not be there  --- he doesn’t know yet  &  that’s what’s making him anxious.

the echoed thought makes him shiver.     he tries to play it off.     he tries to sound like his normal ,  confident self ,  but the unease slips through the cracks in his smile.
