Goldy along with her sister Nugget is a special needs kitten who needs a very loving and patient person to give her a loving home. She is bashful and has tested positive for FIV. FIV positive means the kitten is carrying the FIV antibodies but does not necessary mean the kitten has the infection. Many times kittens can be exposed by nursing on a FIV Mother. She should be tested again at 6 months and many times they will test negative at this point. If she does indeed have the FIV virus it can take many years for the infection to show up if ever. This is not spread to humans and only transmitted to other cats by deep bites. She can live a long, happy and fulfilling life, she just needs a hero to step forward and give her the chance she deserves.
