Alison waited by the van with Jared, eyes constantly staring at her watch. The landing was scheduled for this afternoon, approximately 2 pm and it was now 1:57. Alison sighed softly, she was trying not to be impatient, considering the circumstances. She was the first reporter here, ready to get an interview with Mark Watney, the astronaut that miraculously survived a year and a half on Mars. It would be one of her biggest stories in her entire career, this would probably put her on the path to a promotion to senior journalist. But as the minutes ticked by, it seemed like that dream was getting farther and farther away.
