he cocked his head in confusion as he studied her. “you… this is something that happens often? that your memory fails you?” that was never a good thing, was it? carlisle cleared his throat, despite the fact he didn't need to. “forgive me but… this isn't something that should be happening to you. to your memory. you shouldn't forget things like that…” he mused with a small shake of his head. "can i… take a look at your head, please?"
minette nods. "yes. it happens. it's perfectly normal for me, i assure you." she sighs. "i will allow that, but you won't find anything. i was a prophetess. i was and overachiever i guess. i wanted to see as many futures as possible. and i burnt out. my mind protected itself by causing me to lose memories. it took me a very long time at home to get them fixed. but since being here, i've found it affects me again." her eyes widen. "that probably makes you worry about my head more. i promise i am telling the truth."

"you would leave the volturi for me? i'm not sure they would be able to force you to be their guard again." arrow nods. "i would absolutely love to find our own apartment together. to start our new lives together. but. while we're searching, i think maybe we should stay at each other's places. i don't want to be away from you anymore at all." he frowns. "i'm so sorry. i've heard it's a thing that happens here. but it doesn't make it any easier. maybe you talking to her did help? i really hope it did."
emma turns towards the voice in confusion and slight curiosity, as soon as she hears someone calling out her name, because there's a quick flash of familiarity in the tone. she'd simply been passing through the park on her morning run, just as she did on most days, so she's not expecting anyone to stop her, but it's still nothing too out of the ordinary, she supposes. even if the other somehow happens to know her name. " yes ? " her response is not necessarily guarded, but definitely a bit wary, at most. " can i help you ? "
julian tries to keep his face from displaying the emotion he feels. emma, his emma, doesn't remember him. it hurts more than he could ever imagine. for the first time in a long time, he wishes he couldn't feel emotion again. then maybe this feeling would go away. "you definitely get attached. i do keep some animals at home as well. some of them need more attention, and i'm happy to give them that." king laughs. "i've had the urge to steal a donkey actually. they're so cute. but, i just tell myself that what the animal needs matters more than what i want. but now i'm even more tempted to steal a donkey."
"If it's not a problem with you. I just ordered my food too. The place seems crowded today" Robin says with a hum. "Thanks for letting me sit with you."

it was a regular occurrence for johnny to use the excuse of a smoke break to for a temporary escape. thus , here he was , yet again leaning against a brick wall with a cigarette in his hands. he was in the process of lighting it when he noticed someone else. “ oh , hi , ” he exhaled a laugh. “ do you mind if i smoke … ? or … ” he held out the lighter. “ do you need a light yourself ? ”
mal looked over at the other. he shrugs. "it won't bother me if you smoke. so go ahead." he thinks about the offer for a second, then nods. "yeah. i think i'll take a light, if you're offering."

"i am not." rory frowns. "so we've been here together this long and not seen each other?" he feels horrible that he hasn't seen her yet. "i wish we would have found each other sooner, but we're here now." rory grins. "i am? because i feel the same way about you. you're so gorgeous. i'm so happy you're here."
"Yeah, I guess life has a funny way of working out, huh?" Alec chuckled, giving a nod. "Consider me a terrible detective, though. I couldn't even find my own husband." He hummed. "Don't be nervous...um, well, apparently, in the future, we have a kid. Well, two, actually."
magnus grins. "it's okay. you and i are together now, finally. but, what will our living arrangements be? you move in with me, i move in with you, or would you like to look for a place together? our own home." he shakes his head. "you are a detective. that fits you." he realizes they're from different timelines. which is fine with him. "max and rafe? i know about them. although i didn't expect to come here and see a fully grown rafael."
"Yeah, I agree. Just the two of us, it makes it more comfortable and definitely way less awkward" Jihyo says with a chuckle.
"i agree." scarlett loves grace with her whole heart. her daughter was her life. but she wanted to finally confess how she feels to jihyo. "so there's a reason i wanted it to be just us."
"Azalea," she replied as she moved to sit across from the other, "I swear you'd think with a place as big as DC and with us all being stuck here there'd be plenty of good people around but I've found myself struggling to keep afloat"
"exactly. it takes some adjusting, and finding the right people. and maybe we could talk more. i'm always happy to meet a new friend. i promise nothing surprises me in this city anymore, and i promise to be kind. i can be dramatic, but i swear to always be good to everyone i can. except the guy that stood you up. he can go fuck himself."

“can i ask you something?” gigi questioned, offering the other a kind smile. she needed some answers. to try to figure out what was happening but… also to not feel quite so alone any more. “i'm gigi. i was just… wondering if you are originally from here or if you… ended up here? like myself?” she cocked her head, studying them for a reaction.
aang looks up at the others question. it had been something he'd struggled with for the longest time. he had recently just gotten his memories back. but he knows that he's from an entirely different world. "i'm not from here. i thought i was for a while, but now that i have my memories, i know i'm not actually from here."

"i am good, thank you." arrow frowns at simon's words. "i understand that." he didn't personally understand it, but he'd met others who had lost their memories. "i know it has to be scary. i promise i'm happy to sit and listen to you, no matter how long it takes. maybe talking might help you figure out things?"

No , she did not have any idea of who she was talking to . Then again , nothing about that was new , seeing as she only seemed to remember the people that she had deemed worthy of that . In this case ? There was nothing about that here .
