Many people had commented on how he seemed like a different person on the job. He wasn’t as rambunctious, and sometimes he didn’t have his usually grin on his face. Ash was well aware of how he came off, but his job serious business. It wasn’t too hard to understand.
He particularly liked to bug his coworkers with his sudden change in mood. His go-to person to bug was Shane. Ash had nothing against Shane, more specifically, he was quite fond of Shane, though he couldn’t really say why.
As the clock ticked down on their shift, the blonde began to spare a few glances towards his coworker. He remained quiet, but each time he looked, he would stare a little longer. He glanced down at his watch. Just one minute to go. He removed himself from the shelf he was working on and snuck over to Shane’s side as quietly as he could.
“Hey Shane! My guy!” He shouted with a hearty laugh. “What’s up?”
