Where: Fast Gas Who: Julia & @archerrcollins​ When: Thursday morning - 7:20 AM What: Julia comes to visit Archer - thanking him for the way he’s been there for her but also wanting to check in on him with the new clue out there, 

If there was one thing she disliked about Fast Gas - it was how stinking far it was from the town center. It was really the only time she had use her car for much. It was early in the morning - too early for herself - but she had a shift at the hospital later. A pair of sunglasses covered her eyes, doing what they could along with her make-up to hide dark circles under eyes. The coffee nor the Pedialyte were doing much for her blinding headache but it was okay - she’d get through it. Always did. 

As she got out of her car, Julia carried a bag from Mel’s in one hand and a coffee tray in another. It was her way of thanking Archer for being there for her when he really had no obligation. She entered the gas station and immediately spotted him. “Hey,” She said warmly, placing the food and coffee on the check out counter and tucking her sunglasses against the top of her scrubs. “I brought you breakfast - as a thank you.” Julia told him, walking over to where he stood and leaned up to press a kiss to his cheek in greeting. “Are you doing okay? With the new clue - I’ve been really worried about you.” The concern was palpable in her words and in the way her hand landed gently on the side of his neck, her thumb barely grazing along the stubble of his defined jaw.

“You know, I remember seeing you in the great hall during these events. So small. So innocent. And now look at you.” Joshua commented with a sweeping gesture of his hand and maybe he had a little bit too much to drink tonight and feeling delightfully tipsy and therefore nostalgic. “All grown up in your suit with your pretty girlfriend. It’s hard to see you as like... twelve in my head anymore. Who told you that you were allowed to grow up, huh?”

grace: mayday! i've had a muffin batter disaster.

grace: is there anyway you'd be able to bring me, eggs, blueberries, milk and some dog shampoo.

grace: i would go myself but i'm currently having to run around the flat after parker whilst he splatters said batter all over the place.

“Don’t worry, this happens more often then you think.” Ariella commented, waving the other off as she moved behind the counter and pulled out a small lock box containing various shiny objects. “Take your pick, I tend to go with something that catches the light well, it tends to bring them out of their hiding places quicker than something that’s a little duller.”

“Okay, you’re not allowed to be mad at me because I did send you a text saying Happy Birthday and I did arrange this as a belated birthday meal.” Joshua pointed out, putting out plates of food that were his brothers favorite on the island between them. “I was actually busy with school stuff, since I’m on thin ice there and didn’t want to push my luck. That and I thought you’d be busy with Grace so I’d be off the hook.” He continued, “So are we cool?”

“I’ve changed my mind, I don’t want to do this anymore- I give up.” Grace groaned, pushing her laptop far enough away to let her head thud onto the tabletop. “Why did I think this was something I could do, I don’t know how to run a business, let alone set up a website and what if my baking is just sub par and no one buys anything.” She mumbled against the wood, turning her head to the side slightly to look at the other “I’m spiraling, aren’t I?”

🌽- our muses get lost in a corn maze together

“I know I look ridiculous-” Grace commented in between bounces as she tried to see over the walls of the maze, “But, I thought this might be an effective way of trying to find out if we’re close to the exit.” She spoke once again, taking a run up before jumping, however her landing went badly and she stumbled over, crashing into one of the walls of corn. “Okay...Ow...” She groaned from where she was not slumped on the floor. “Maybe it wasn’t that effective and now I regret my choices.”

“Is it bad that I want one of these as a pet? Do you think Parker would get along with them if I did have one? Also on a scale of one to ten how easy do you think it would be to smuggle it out of here?” Grace bombarded her boyfriend with questions as she climbed partially onto the railing to lean over the fence of the enclosure to get a better look.
