She shifts and looks at Franky, nodding slightly. "You sure fucking have. I mean, I've only heard a piece of your story, but it's amazing that you were able to make it through all of that." Getting all emotional like this really wasn't her thing, but new Gail was all about doing things differently. Or at least trying to. "Genuinely brave of you to just sort of leave it all out there. Refreshing. Too many people are just assholes about what happened to them rather than doing anything about it."

Tilting her head back to look at the other woman, Gail did a half shrug. She didn’t fully understand why they were tracking the man, but at the very least she actually had experience to offer. Unlike so much of this new life, Gail was very confident in her ability to understand how to stay unnoticed in a crowd. “Yeah, well, you are very noticeable,” Gail returned. It might have been her own hyper awareness of everything and everyone. She swirled her drink and tried to slouch just a bit more. “Just... I don’t know... tone it down would you? There is a limit to how stupid men are. A large one, but still.”

“See, I get why you were there, but I honestly don’t get why you aren’t telling me the truth. If you do that, you won’t get in any trouble.” She’s trying to throw this perp a bone, even though she doesn’t want to, but Gail did try to play by the rules.
