But it was the ring on his finger. Oh shit. He married Bobbi. Again. Now that was a rude wake up. A terrible mistake. “I don’t regret last night but we need to find a lawyer or something,” he said, looking straight at Bobbi’s lips.

Buzzing in his ears. He knew that TJ was saying something but he couldn’t tell the exact words. But he knew it involved not wanting him to leave the bed. The hand pulling him back was saying as much. Maybe he should put the hearing aid back on. Not perfect for sleeping. But at least, he could hold a conversation without necessarily having to look at TJ’s mouth. He put it on and went back to bed. “someone’s being greedy,” he said, closing his eyes.

He wanted to stay. So bad. But like everything regarding Bobbi, it would be best for him to go. To just not get involved. He loved her. God only knew how much he did. But then, there was a feeling they’d just go back to where they were and it wasn’t like they were something anymore. Ex-spouses, forever. Divorced, their status. He just thought he’d be the one begging. It was usually the case between the two of them. “I think we both know where we stand with each other.”
