Through the city bounded a little blur of white. Scout had so much running around to do now that she was a business owner. She loved it, don’t get her wrong; but she also loved being on site (and also naps, Scout loved a good siesta).
She didn’t have time for any of that though; not even enough time to always have her lunch date with Percy which Scout had always looked forward to — she loved that little chicken nugget. But she had no help at the moment, so she would survive.
She sped past a lump on the ground not far from her shopfront’s door, skidding to a stop and backpedaling. Her phone dropped from her mouth onto the sidewalk while she investigated.
Scout did everything from slapping the man’s face with a paw to jumping on him a couple times like a sleeping totoro but nothing seemed to wake him.
She scurried to her phone, tapping at the screen with two little paws.

When Grayson opened his eyes it’d be in enough time to see a fox the size of a kid’s sized shoe box (if that) tapping away at the cracked screen of a smart phone. If that didn’t give her status as ‘not always a fox’ away the tastefully 2000s style half heart-necklace she wore might (Lizzie of course had the missing piece).
That or the fact that she started using text to speech to speak directly to him.
hey you. the slightly inhuman voice said, you can’t stay here.
you out of work or something?
He looked fucked up. To make sure he was actively listening Scout whacked him on the forehead a couple times with a paw.
Blink once if you understand. Blink twice if you’ve fallen and you can’t get up. Para Español oprema dos.
