the last book in cixin liu's trilogy was just constant whiplash between a throughline of casual misogyny and an astonishing commitment to hard sci-fi and if it weren't for the latter i would have quickly given up due to the former
no but seriously i think i genuinely lucked out this summer with reading 3 body just in time for genshin's summer explore region like that is the coincidence of a lifetime imagine having your two biggest interest collide like that i am living the fucking dream
