I literally woke up to this ask and thought 'whoa Muddy going straight for the jugular and I didn't even have my coffee' but okay. XD I guess I asked for this by posting this meme, haha.

1. Fuck

Going to say Genesis, because as an old-school VK fan, who didn't want to bang Gackt the moment he left MM for his solo career? I'm joking, though, that's not the actual reason. XD

Although in this blog Melissa has interacted with two lovely Geneses, I don't think I see a marriage potential there - passionate, dedicate lover potential? Sure. But knowing what's waiting for Genesis down the read with the decay and stuff... I don't think this seems at all possible.

2. Marry

Have to say Sephiroth because of the most interactions I've had - weirdly enough, even though we all know Sephiroth eventually goes on to become the big bad villain of the franchise, there is an entire heroic and very much human side to him in Crisis Core (meanwhile Genesis had already disappeared), and the Sephs I have written thus far were also very much kind to Melissa.

Not that Shinra would ever sanction this, of course. 8)

3. Kill

And this is Angeal, I think. I have absolutely nothing against the poor man, neither has Melissa - but I just never got to develop any Angeal connections so we hardly knew ye. :( Sorry Angeal. We wish we didn't have to pick someone for the 'kill' bit but we play by the rules for this meme.

If you haven’t gotten this one already: 💫 with Logan, Benjamin, and Billy.

💫 - fight, tickle, insult. Fight: Logan. I would lose, 100%, but I think he’d made it fun. He seems calm and collected most of the time, but I think in an argument, he’d really come to life. 

Tickle: Benjamin. That man has a million ticklish spots, I know it. I want to find them all.  Insult: Billy. No matter what I say to him, it wouldn’t be as bad as whatever he dealt with in the Marines, so my insults would mean very little to him - unless I went in on something very personal and hit below the belt. (Also there’s no way I’d ever insult Logan or Benjamin because they hear that too much from everyone else in their lives. At least Billy’s got a thick skin from other people that have insulted and talked down to him throughout his military career.

Summary:

A mouthy carpenter by the name of Mal is hard up for work and takes a contract with the infamous Lewis Mount. Lewis, unhappy with the quality of Mal's work, decides to extract something of value from Mal in other ways.        

Three Choices - Chapter 2

Lewis’ blue gaze glowed with triumph, and Mal stood there, repressing a shudder. He’d picked option three. He knew he’d survive it, but that didn’t mean he had to like it. Suddenly he found himself torn between wishing he’d never used that fucking wrong drill bit to extend Lewis’ headache, and wishing he’d used wrong drill bits from the beginning, just to feel like this was worth it.

‘We’ll get this over and done with quickly, I promise,’ Lewis said, a hand raising to his tie so he could shift it without taking it off. It looked like he was giving himself room to swallow comfortably. ‘Turn and face the desk, and drop those trousers of yours, if you please.’

Mal glared at him, but goddamn it, fuck, he’d agreed. He took three bravado-filled steps to the table, stared down at the clutter then undid the belt that was so old the leather was coming off in flakes. He undid his button fly with fingers that felt a little numb, then dropped his trousers.

‘Oh!’ Lewis said. ‘Your boxers have holes in them! How very dear! I suppose you’re chronically underpaid then, aren’t you, Malefactor? Drop those too.’

Rob a bank with: Baby Yoda. He’s my OG, ride or die child. Wherever I go, he goes.  Hide a body with: Grogu. IDK, he seems like he’d be good at it. He’s kinda shifty like that and is usully the one that falls over (tries to get away) Rat out to the cops: Grogurt. He’s loud, I wouldn’t have to rat him out - they’d find him on their own. Also, c’mon, kid, leave me alone for five minutes stop following me. 

🚦 - be stuck in an elevator with, be stuck in traffic with, be stuck in the apocalypse with.  Be stuck in an elevator with: Grogu. There’s not much room for him to get into trouble. He’d get bored real quick.  Be stuck in traffic with: Baby Yoda. He already went to Massachusetts with me, and we DID get stuck in a traffic jam for a little while. He sat quietly and wore his mask like a good little dude. 

Be stuck in the apocalypse with: Grogurt. Again, he’s the only one that can move on his own. He could lead everyone away from me, and I could depend on him to do the magic hand thing whenever necessary.  (I hope these are the triplets you meant; Also there are pictures incoming but I answered this on my laptop so I have to edit it on my phone. Give me a few minutes.

💤 Ezra, Din, Javi

🚦Logan, Ryan, Benjamin

💤 - sleep with fully clothed, sleep with in underwear, sleep with naked.

Fully clothed: Din. This is easy. He’d always want to keep SOMETHING on just because he’d want to be ready to go, and that’s fine with me.

Underwear: Ezra. I have no real explanation for it, other than that I feel like he’d want to keep something on in case he had to run to the controls or the pod/whatever craft we were in’s seat in the middle of the night.

Naked: Javi. Does this need an explanation?

🚦 - be stuck in an elevator with, be stuck in traffic with, be stuck in the apocalypse with.

Elevator: Ryan. I have been stuck in an elevator. Being in there with someone with anxiety would not be fun. He’s used to confined spaces from trains, so he would be fine.

Traffic: Benjamin. He might get annoyed, but he’d find ways to get through it. He’d keep me talking, and you KNOW he’d be holding your hand over the center console the whole time.

Apocalypse: Logan Delos. He has ZERO qualms shooting or hurting vaguely humanoid things, so he’d do whatever to protect me - and be good at it. I imagine he’s used a ton of different weapons in the parks, so he’d be skilled. Also, he probably has so many networks and connections we’d have contacts across the country to depend on. Also I think Logan is FIERCELY loyal, so he’d take protecting someone and getting to be the good guy very seriously. (Ryan was close second here because she’s so resourceful but it had to be Logan)

Three Choices was a lot of fun to write, and as always, writing something to get to know two characters often leaves me thinking about like, how to expand the world. In this case, I actually wanted to write a oneshot for fun, featuring charactesr I’d never written before, and the world / story for them came afterwards.

So I’m really hoping to share more of their stories with you, Lewis in particular has a really complex background. And Mallory’s about to gain a super fucking complex background just because he knows him now, lol.

I caught the descriptors for Lewis but I didn’t notice any for Mal (unless I missed them) and was wondering what his physical appearance was as well as what age range these two new characters are

We’ll get more on Mal’s appearance in the next chapter (through Lewis’ observations, because Mal never self-describes his appearance) but honestly, I don’t have a full sort of appearance for him worked out yet, so people are welcome to fill in the spaces. Aside from Mal being younger than Lewis, and having red hair, it’s still up in the air, lol.

As for the age range, I don’t really want to commit to anything here that I’m likely to change later, I’d say Mal is anywhere between like 21-27 and Lewis is anywhere between about 34-44. These are...details I don’t really need to know for oneshots, but don’t want to pull out of thin air before I know for certain their fleshed out histories for the book, heh.

Tbh, Lewis Mount and Mallory are going to end up stealing all the best lines from all the rest of the characters and I’m still not sure how I feel about it. But they’re both such snarky assholes, like, o hhhhhh my god.
