This is an update of my layout assignment for my art portfolio. It is the background of the panda family’s house in the middle of the bamboo forest. It was a based on the fairy tale “Goldilocks & The Three Bears” except it is set in Ancient China. The “three bears” are kind, peasant rice farmers while “Goldilocks” is Princess Jin, a spoiled, lavish daughter from a high dynasty that ran away and took refuge in the house. Thanks to PhotoShop, I’ve added more clear and added gradient, smudge effects to give an oil pastel like look. In addition, I changed it from a two-point to a one-point perspective for a more simplistic approach.
