How would you describe your childhood in general? / What is your greatest fear? / What is your best memory?

sokka’s childhood is traumatizing. he was young but old enough to remember the hundred year war. there’s a reason why he was so focused in becoming a warrior in the show’s pilot. his greatest fear is losing his family and friends. he’s already lost his mother. his best memory would be between his adventures with aang, katara, toph, suki, appa and momo. maybe zuko in the end too. the other best memory is an ordinary day when his family was complete.

starter call for my new divergent verse

having grown up as erudite, clarke is shocked to find out she is the exact thing her father died trying to protect. after having been found dead after protesting erudite for their war on divergents and abnegation, clarke finds out she too is divergent. thinking initially her best friend was responsible, after her test, which comes out inconclusive for dauntless, abnegation, and erudite, she stumbles in and figures out her mother is actually responsbile. the next day during the choosing ceremony, she chooses dauntless, a rebellion in itself. life in dauntless isn’t easy for her, and she barely skirts by being the second to last above the line.

so this url was sent in twice by another anon, and since i don’t know kelsey very well right now, i’m just gonna answer the one (but know people were thinking of you dear) we’ve chatted a few times and we currently have a thread with tris and raven that i’m excited for. i’ve never been a fan of divergent but what i’ve seen with their take on tris and their verses, i think they’ve made me more interested in the character and world than if i were to consume that series on my own. overall kelsey is lovely and a talented writer, and i’m looking forward to getting to know them more!

a month away from hawkins and he has almost washed the town out of his head. it helps that he is more stressed about finances than ever, having settled in big city chicago with ten times more light pollution and commerce. he has to be jack of all trades if his family were to trade at all, and he is more than glad to find the city overwhelming with opportunities for night shifts.

this run-down bar he works in looks like it’s standing on its last leg, and he is one of the few trying their best to keep that leg up. the place attracts various people, all with stories and worries, and this blonde girl tonight seems to have some to share.

“ how many are there? ” he asks. starting a conversation, if she is willing. it’s part of the job, aside from wiping glasses. “ for you. ”
