This is the sweet song that Katniss sings to her sister prim in the first book. Its a special lullaby to her because it was a song that her deceased father sang to her when she was younger. She sang the song to rue when the young, district 11 tribute was on the edge of death and slowly slipping out of conciousness, it was the last thing she heard.

So, the electricity went out on the train lines so none were running after school. The office sent a note saying anyone that got the train could leave ten minutes early. It got to twenty five past three and she got up went "guys, I've always wanted to do this..." Then walks out doing the three fingered salute and whistling. Best maths lesson ever.
