ANOUK (2018) After many years, I finally feel like I have found my home. All my life, I have moved around and visited many countries. Until this point I have lived in four countries and been in approximately ten different schools. Moving and deciding where to go next always were always a big part of my life. Last year I decided to, after many years, move back to Czech Republic to relearn the language. I started an intensive course in Czech language, which was being organised at the philosophical faculty of the University of Hradec Králové. When I came here I got given a buddy, which really helped me to integrate. The buddy system does something similar as Foreigners, but for exchange students. I liked this program so much that I decided to volunteer with them myself and when the end of the school year came, i decided that I did not want to leave yet. Now I am studying at UHK to become a teacher of mathematics, physics and informatics - all in Czech - volunteer with the ESN Buddy System and work on the side.
