Percy’s ready to get up, go back to his cabin, when Hope stops him and before he’s able to question what else he’d need, their lips are pressed together. His eyes are wide only for a moment before he gives in, pressing his lips back against her own. His hands rise and frame her features, the taste of her lips swim into his mouth until the kiss breaks, and it just lingers on his lips, “I-I’m glad I stayed for that part.”

“Come on now, love,” Enzo started as he held his hand out to her. “It’s a festival, it’s supposed to be fun and distract you from the rest of the world. We can enjoy the food and the drink, maybe some shopping or dancing. I won’t let anything happen to you and besides, we’re supposed to be relaxing and enjoying ourselves.” Enzo wanted to see the world but he also felt like a break from some of the things that went on in Mystic Falls and their world filled with monsters and creepy crawlies was always a good thing. “What do you say?”
