There are many times that we feel like we cannot do anything. We are put into a situation where we do not know what to do or we think that we cannot do anything about it. We easily give up and just accept defeat.
However, God is telling us differently. He reminded us through His scripture that we should not rely on our own strength, instead we should rely on His strength. If we only rely on our own strength, we can never do anything.
We are weak but He made us strong. God says that we can do anything through Him who gives us strength, indeed we can! Just like how Jesus won the victory over death, we can win the battle against sin through Him.
If you are in a situation right now where you think you cannot do anything, always remember that our strength comes from Him and we can do anything through Him— even death cannot hold us.
When you feel so weak and down, hold on to Him for His strength is perfect. Do not be ashamed to come to our God in your knees because we are all weak, but with Him we are all strong.
So if you are having a hard time defeating your battles or saying ‘no’ to your pet sin, hold on to His promise because you can do anything through Him and believe in His name that He will be there for you. Jesus will strengthen you as you battle your way out of sin.
