Days 12-13. I woke up two days ago with the flu, and have had some excruciatingly bad mental health days. These are from last year.
It feels like the year is already conspiring against me keeping up on this but I am trying. Thank you all.
Days 2-8. Throwbacks from 2021 to fill in the gap :) I miss that haircut, I'm letting my hair grow for my sister's wedding and the length is so annoying right now!
Day 11 + Bonus. Y'all. I got so excited about getting my first ask and a handful of new followers that my excitement overpowered my actual ability to do makeup (plus I was just exhausted this morning.) So I started over twice, was running late, and ended up with this quick messy neutral tone look (because I clearly could not handle colors responsibly this morning lol). Not super polished but nice enough for work haha. And a bonus throwback from a day last year when I clearly had my crap more together 😆
But for real, the influx of notes made me so happy, and it's been amazing motivation for this project! Thank you all so much! 🖤
1. Happy New Year! A throwback from last year bc today is hangover day lol
Day 16. Oh my gosh I'm so sorry. There will be much fresh makeup this year. But today I found out I had to make an angel food cake for tomorrow, from scratch, for the first time lol. So the cake is cooling, you get fresh naked faced me, and a throwback from last year :)
Day 15. Another throwback, another tough day. Tomorrow I hope to do something extravagant like yesterday though. Thanks for bearing with me!

Wanted to mention Netflix's show Glow Up, where makeup artists of varying backgrounds compete to win opportunities in the makeup industry.
It is one of my favorite shows and I just finished the 3rd season (I was putting off the last episode because I didn't want it to be over!). And I just have to say my favorite contestant of the whole season was Sophie Baverstock!!! I relate to her in a myriad of ways and her makeup was so amazing and inspiring! She's been a huge influence on my use of color and I could watch her on screen for hours. She's on the right below.
Sorry for the terrible photos of my computer screen but the struggle is real right now lol. But this makeup she did, this one below, this rocked my frickin world. Gorgeous. I think about it all the time when I'm doing my makeup. Man, I just adore her, I want to be her lol.
