Tamlin Creator Appreciation: thrumbolt

Another cornerstone of the Tamlin fandom is Thrum, found @thrumbolt and @thrumugnyr!

She's great at drawing angst and drama and horses but also so funny and so good at setting the mood in her art and also so funny. Great at making the fandom a better place and the best girlfriend in the whole world.

Somewhat biased appreciation aside, the Tamlin fandom would not be what it is today without Thrum! They are an incredible artist, managing to capture intense emotion and movement in a single drawing. They are also very active in the ACOTAR community on other platforms, encouraging people who might be nervous about sharing their love of Tamlin to do so. We love our Thrum!!

Started playing the wonderful dating sim game made by many lovely members of the Tamlin and ACOTAR community. All I have to say is thank you! Everything is so wonderful! @copypastus your characters are beautiful and I love getting to interact with them! @thrumugnyr your background work is gorgeous! Absolutely stunning! @highlordofkrypton your writing is so perfect and all the guys are swoon-worthy heartthrobs. You’ve truly made my heart race with this game and I thank you and everyone else who worked on this project! It’s the best gift you could have given us for the end of Tamlin Week! With all my love, I hope you had a wonderful week and continue to do so! 💖🫶💖🫶💖

Tamlin Creator Appreciation: thrumugnyr

Today's Tamlin creator we're appreciating is @thrumugnyr, an extraordinarily talented artist in ACOTAR fandom. They are one of the first people to consistently draw the High Fae with animal-features, making them way more interesting and fantasical. If you've ever seen Tamlin with antlers or Lucien with a tail, it was probably inspired by Thrum. We are particularly taken with their centaur Tamlin.

To be fair, I honestly can't think of a big budget action movie where 5 out of the 7 good guys were female. (Or even more if you add the grannies), so honestly that was quite surprising!

when mentioning the grannies we’re talking about Red? (which I really liked btw) XD but nah as stated I don’t have a problem with that. I just have a problem with the usual tumblr ‘this is amazing and no one did it ever before’ attitude but it’s not even specific to this film, they do it with everything xDDD like I’m entirely glad they did it if it wasn’t clear already XD
