Believing a trans person owes you an explanation, or anything if the sort is so toxic, it’s so fucking toxic, no one owes you shit. absolutely no one. and i said this on reddit and i’ll say it here, who they were before they became the person they’re meant to be is none of your damn business, if you don’t like Elodie for the simple fact that she’s trans, you’re transphobic. And while we’re on this topic, START ADDRESSING PEOPLE BY THE RIGHT PRONOUNS. I see so many of you referring to Alex as he/him when they go by they/them, the amount of you that call me a girl even after i’ve repeatedly said i’m not one is astounding and disgusting.

THTH: Who Would Date Black Women (1/2)

Yeah, I'm doing this. I was originally going to do LITG S5 but I hate everything and everyone so that was scrapped but I found this game and I love it! ❤️

I've watched all 4 seasons of THTH and I have to say; the Black women on that show have a better chance of finding someone who's attracted to them than on Love Island. Just being honest here. I like better because I won't have to sit through people constantly rejecting and ignoring black women for weeks.

So let's begin:

Alex: Yes. They would be interested in anyone really. So, we're good with them.

Dakota: Also yes. Dakota gives me Sapphic vibes for sure so sure.

Henri: Yeah, Henri likes everyone. He's a sweetheart 💕

Jada: Jada is straight so not really but she would be besties with you.

Justin: Yes but he's not a good person so leave him alone, for your own sake.

Liam: I'm not sure about Liam though. He doesn't give me colourist vibes but I'm not sure. We'll see. -> Edit because there were some annoyance with this analysis of Liam: Throughout the game, Liam has little interaction with Sarah and Jada, the two black women and has more (flirty) interactions with Dakota and Marisa, the two white women. So I went off that. The game is STILL updating so I'm not writing Liam off yet. The door is STILL open. I think THTH is the only show I've seen where we see black men go for both black and non-black women consistently.

Sarah: Of course. Not questions asked, she would.

Theo: Like Gary from LITG S2, Theo gives me the vibe that he cares about his attraction to the person than looks. He would definitely go after any beautiful black woman he sees. And also, he does flirt with and is attracted to Sarah so yes!

finished my henri playthrough! it was great but i kinda lost interest towards the end for some reason. the last few chapters felt kind of boring to me, though maybe that's because all the drama was over.

anyway, i'm going for round two with alex, and i love how if you do the first date route with him, he asks before touching your hair!! it really gives me the impression that there's diversity (or at least a good understanding of diversity) in the writers board :D

Oh God, yeah the drama really fizzled out after a while. I was so loyal to Henri the whole time, I was never tossing up between him and Diego at all, and I kinda hated how the game made it so I was indecisive. But like I've said a million times, this game has good bones.

I really hope they decide to make a new season, taking on feedback from the players, because if they invested a little more into branching outcomes/options, this could really be a gamechanger for IF.

Re your second point, ALEX YOU BEAUTIFUL HUMAN do they really do that??!?!?!? Can you say no???? God damn, I need to finish my Alex route. It really is the little things that make all the difference, isn't it? Like, what a beautiful moment to go 'hey, we actually did think about this'.

Representation matters. Different voices matter.

It's things like this that make me more willing to give them a chance on season 2 if they make one. Like, yeah, we were missing a bit of drama, and Jada got a little annoying after a while, but at least they weren't actively gaslighting us and being obviously racist.

bestie dont worry ALEX WOULD NEVER...it's all Candace. Honestly the only LI I would worry about wouldve been Justin and he was never an LI and he's gone! haha. All the LIs have been super loyal to MC and from everyone's updates, they all seem as into MC as they could be atp. my theory is Candace took them aside on night one and let them know she wanted them. I think they told her sorry but my focus is on MC. Which is why when we were in the room with everyone else and Lana was announcing the dates they tried to tell us what happened but we didn't let them finish. That kiss was one-sided.
