STORM AND A SPRING ANIMATION THUMBNAIL CONTEST

That’s right fellas! This song in particular is very special to me and to commemorate the halfway mark of this behemoth of a project, I thought of doing something fun, so thumbnail contest galore! The prompt is simple: Mind in the rain. I am looking for a piece that generally fits cohesively with the vibe of the clip shown above, so referencing the design and colour palette will be appreciated, but not fully expected and both can be altered or tweaked so go wild! And most importantly have fun! And may the cuntiest Mind win!!

To enter either just tag me or reblog this post, and I’ll make sure to reblog all entries in return. You have time until I finish animating the song so give or take 1 month from now.

The winner will be obviously credited and have their socials linked, and will receive either a fully rendered piece from yours truly or a 5 second animation/gif of their choosing, think something like this:

Decided to get RW Tumblr involved with my map stuff, so definitely join or reblog if you can. My two ongoing Rain World maps, Davy Jones and Black Madonna have open thumbnail contests. So if animation isn’t your strong suit but you still want to contribute art, you are welcome to participate in the thumbnail contest. This thumbnail will be for the completed maps on YouTube. Here are the basic rules.

- The dimensions of your canvas must be 1920 x 1080

- The contest is open until the final parts of the maps are done.

- Submit a version with and without text and title your file with the name you want to be credited as.

- The winners of the contest will get a free shaded icon featuring a character of their choice.

- More information about the designs and guidelines will be found in the links below. These are from the map calls themselves.

- For Black Madonna, the main focus of the thumbnail should be on Five Pebbles and No Significant Harassment. The text should read “Black Madonna” and subtitled as “Complete Rain World Ragequit MAP” And should use this font.

Font

- For Davy Jones, the main focus of the thumbnail should be Rivulet. Either holding the Rarefaction Cell, swimming, or something else. Five Pebbles and Looks To The Moon can also be incorporated. The text should read “Davy Jones” and subtitled as “Complete Rain World Rivulet MAP” No specific font is required for the text as long as it kinda has a rustic pirate-esque look to it.

The map calls with all the resources needed in the description.

Spark MAP Thumbnail Contest [open]

I'm currently hosting a Warrior MAP about Larksong and Sparkpelt's heartwarming also tragic love story. The MAP is 70% completed right now! If you can't join the MAP but still want to be a part of it, Please consider joining this contest! Every entry will be credited at the end of the finished MAP!

How to enter

●Read the contest rules below.

●Use form for submitting

Rules

● 1920x1080 or larger with the same ratio

● Using form for submitting.

● Sparkpelt and Larksong should be the main focus.

● The thumbnail of this MAP shouldn't look bloody, violent, or horrifying.

● Title should include :

''Spark Complete Sparkpelt & Larksong MAP'' or ''Spark Complete MAP''

● Please submit 2 versions of your entry, one including the title and one without title.

● AI, tracing, or stealing other people's work is not allowed. (includes directly using the background refs for this MAP)

● You can make as many entries as you want.

● Deadline is August 1st.

● Please follow the art directions, you can add more effects or shading to make the thumbnails look more vivid and pretty.

● I suggest reading the script of the MAP and watching the finished parts first, that may inspire you what the thumbnail should look like.

i did an entry for teh ebony sky warrior cats map thumbnail contest cuz i think the map looks really cool so far and i cannot wait for my eyes to be blessed with it
