Jasper's ACTUAL thoughts: Ok, I don't really know how a guidance counselor job works, but I'm PRETTY SURE you're supposed to have a posted list of business hours, or some kinda sign that says "out of office, be back soon". While the magical bracelet is clever, I'm pretty sure you can't cheat the system this way. Also, if the teachers already left, why are students still coming to school and who's teaching all the classes? ....FRIENDSHIP SCHOOL IS CONFUSING!!!!! Regardless, y'all already know how I feel about Starlight and Trixie, and yet I could actually sympathize with both sides - Starlight being overworked balancing her job and her downtime (Been there, done that), and Trixie frustrated because she just wants to spend time with her friend... though neither really handled it the right way (It probably would've helped if Silverstream put more emphasis on the whole cockatrice project instead of looking for synonyms). That being said, there IS a lot to like about the episode - the animation is on point, a lot of the jokes were on point (Especially Maud's who was pretty much the highlight of the episode in my eyes), it's cool that we're showcasing more about the cockatrices again, and the episode's plot wasn't predictable as the synopsis made it sound. Also nice to see Mudbriar being slightly less one-note (Correcting himself is a nice touch).
