It cracks me up when Gan is the one who’s pissed at Tavis because it’s so rare usually it’s Tavis being a rageful little twig of a boy but God one time in the dead of winter they had considerable trouble finding food all day, and finally, finally managed to scrounge up some ingredients to make a really nice stew, like they could’ve just eaten the meat and vegetables without it but it seemed like a waste when they could get some nice warm food in them to help with the cold

so they got to work heating it up above a little campfire and it smelled so goddamn good, and the second Gan turned around to collect some nearby spring water Tavis went to move the pot off the fire and dropped it. And proceeded to fucking panic and try to cover it up all the while Gan is getting water and humming happily to himself bc oh boy a nice hot meal and turns around and just.
