hi! we've never spoken or anything, but I've been following you since back when everyone was still a doctor who blog. anyway I got into dragon age last year and started with inquisition (don't know if you've played origins, I just finished that one), and it was a great game. it can kinda catch you up on lore and stuff, but if you get any questions, I know I'm just a rando but I'd love to answer them. I think you'll really like the characters, one is actually based off tennant's doctor (1/2)
(2/2) and the rest of the cast are p awesome/fleshed out too. the game’s not without its faults but overall, I loved it and it’s really well done. one thing though, is like, if you end up blogging about it, it helps to be reeeeeallly selective with the fandom bc it kinda sucks (if you go to the wrong places, lots of racial ignorance and outright racism it’s gross). anyway this got long but have fun!!!
Hi!!! lmao @ back when everyone was a DW blog, the good ol’ days when all our angry posts were about Steven Moffat and not neonazis
Omg I have to confess, having never played any other Dragon Age game or any game similarly styled to this (RPG i guess is the genre?) I have, like, no idea what is happening in the gameplay at all, to a degree that is making this pretty un-fun – reminds me a lot of being a kid and playing these fighter games and not understanding anything so I’d just mash random buttons, which is p much what I’ve been doing on Dragon Age lol. Combined with the fact that I know nothing about the story/world it is making it quite difficult to get into. I’ve heard so many great things about these games I was really excited to try it but I dunno! I may need to give it more of a shot but I was hoping for something that was immediately immersive to distract me from the real-world dystopia
