Okay so following ur tags that theyre at Beacon: notorious night owl Blake is the first to see them at night and when the three of them start dating, Blake gets super excited to take them stargazing and Nora and Ruby arent super sure if theyll enjoy it but theyll be damned if they dont try it out for their gf!When they go outside they see the lightning bugs before the stars and they spend the whole night playing with them instead of actually stargazing but they have a ton of fun and theyre (1/2)

EDIT: Its thunderbugs anon- what happens next is basically they're super tired the next day but supe happy about it. Nora and Ruby organize a bit more social dates, and they dont rlly talk about the first one until a few weeks later on a weekend, the day is starting to wind down and Blake is about to pick up a book when Ruby and Nora rush in the room with backpacks and they go on a mini hike on a nearby and uninfested with Grimm mountain and set up a picnic with a view of the sunset and watch the(2/3)

Lightning bugs AND stars this time while enjoying a meal that they all like- idk what exactly but Ruby and Nora baked cookies and they all laugh and play around and have a great time but THIS TIME WITH KISSES and its rlly cute!! When they have to pack up and head out, they're all tired but Blake's heart is just bursting w love and she had felt a bit nervous earlier that they hadn't enjoyed her date as much but she could tell that they did and just AAAA its cute!! They're in love!!! (3/3)

Now that she got my permission, she pulls out everything stored in the pouches. Starting with the small charms, since they were on top. The good-luck frog, the shell bell. As well as what looks like a power talon. Who knows? They might have actually been useful when I fought earlier… but the best part is that her face, despite its previous neutrality, now betrays some kind of fascination in front of the shiny artifacts. Maybe, depending on how close we’ll end up to each other, I’ll tell her about the people who gifted these items to me some day.

Having finished my snack, I get up and have stretch. Elysae is playing calmly with the charms, giving me time to roam the room. My room. Looking for memories. I can notice a small, unfamiliar pile of black wood branches in the rudimentary fire place Luna and I built long ago. Completely dust-free, I take it they had been placed there by Elysae herself at some point.

Did she attempt to make fire?

Hearing her moving, I glance back at her, noticing the loose Thunderbugs she’s trying to catch. What a curious bean. I can’t help but smile at this sight. She seems like the kind to be easily distracted, which might make it easier for me to relieve the pain of her loss, at least a little…

What do thunderbugs do on dates?

it depends! they try to take turns choosing what theyre doing on dates! so like, blake likes café dates, but she also knows that can be boring for ruby and nora so she'll suggest something like a picnic date! nora loves high energy dates but also knows sometimes blake cant keep up with her and ruby so she chooses dates like wandering through vale and getting street food, and ruby basically loves any and all dates as long as she's with her girlfriends and most often chooses whatever sounds the most interesting to her that week! (so like going to the movies, or a fair, or to the beach, etc!)

well if it's still thunderbugs time- do nora and ruby have Blake get things off high shelves? does she have to lean down for kisses? do nora or ruby ever suddenly wear heels and shock Blake bc she isnt used to them being tall and doesnt know what to do???? i... may also have some feelings about thunderbugs how did I get here

theyre actually all short (blake just cheats!!! heels are cheating!!!!!) so its more like "blake can you hold really still for a minute yeah just like that-" and then they pick her up and go "grab that cup please"

nora actually wears heels fairly often on their Fancy Dates and it surprises and flusters blake every time babey!!! ruby hates heels and refuses to wear them but loves when nora wears them because "haHA BLAKE TAKE THAT!!!" (which means blake is gonna wear even BIGGER heels ruby rose and you'll be forced to stretch further for kisses!!!!!!)

sometimes blake refuses to lean down for kisses to tease them but forgets that both of her girlfriends are incredibly strong and will just sweep her into a bridal carry and shower her in kisses!! blake is also very strong though and will pick nora and ruby up and set them on counters and tables and such to kiss them!!!

Idk if it's still thunderbugs time but do you think they would ever cook together? We know that Nora eats as she cooks, but how do you think their dynamic would play out in the kitchen- and can Blake cook or not? I'm banking on no but I'm curious about what u think :o

hmmm i honestly dont think blake can cook!! i mean with her rough n tumble life with the white fang the most she knows how to do is probably heat canned food over a fire. as we saw in v5 ruby probably cant either ("its gonna burn" "no it isnt SHUT UP" *burns* "fine. you do it.") due to having yang / tai around to cook for her and then being at what basically amounts to a boarding school where they also provide food. with how nora eats as she cooks, i imagine they dont have a lot of sit-down meals and instead they basically finish off their dinner while it's still being prepared lol
