I really love this idea and I agree with the casting choices. I am so sorry for answering this ask super late! I wanted to wait until I saw the Captain Marvel movie before posting this and I finally got the chance to do so. To make things up for the lateness of my reply, here’s a few things that I thought of for this AU! This will be under a read-more, due to slight spoilers of the movie.

Instead of being Blake’s daughter, Ruby and Yang are still sisters in this AU. Also Ruby is now 3 years younger than WBY in this AU.

After Blake finds out that Yang is the sole care taker of her 15 year old sister, she moves in to help Yang out with her sister, as well as other things like rent & chores.

Yang calls Ruby, “Lieutenant Troublemaker”, often.

Yang & Blake were both fighter pilots at a young age. Their call names were Lt. Blake, “Shadow Cat”, Belladonna & Lt. Yang, “Golden Dragon”, Xiao Long.

After Yang, “dies”, Blake takes it upon herself to become Ruby’s legal guardian. After Ruby turns 18, she still lives with Blake because their home is close to the college.

When Yang shows up with Weiss, “Fury”, Schnee 6 years after the accident, Ruby is ecstatic to see her sister alive & well. Blake was completely shell shocked.

As Blake shares some photos with Yang to help jog her memory, she admits that she’s always had feelings for her.

Before Yang leaves to help the Skrulls find a new home world, she gives Ruby a big hug and promises that she’ll be back soon. She also promises to Blake that when she gets back, she wants to give a relationship between them a shot. Blake promises to wait for as long as it takes. The two share a kiss to seal the deal.

5 years go by and Yang comes back from her mission. She and Blake start dating, and after another year passes, they get married.

As an added bonus, I think that Glynda would be Dr. Wendy Lawson & Zwei would be Goose.

Oh fuck yeah two topics i lose my mind over

1. Kurogiri and the Idiot DuoKurogiri instantly saw Toga for what she was, a child who was thrown into the wrong situation because of something bad. So he decided to make sure she was always safe. He set up her device the get blood and what not in a specific way that she could work at long range, since her quirk doesn’t really do that. He was rlly quiet about caring for her but he’s such a dad that he just had to take care of her.

With Twice he originally was just like ‘hm he is weird but i still think he’s cool’ but then he learned more he almost cried like no wait he is Also a sad boy who ended up in villainy bc of something bad. So he Also does what he can to keep Twice safe bc he’s just that kind of dad.

2. Eri with the LoVAlright I don’t remember what discord I was in when I first heard of this but i’ve been obsessed ever since

Dabi is out late at night Not Doing His Fucking Job when he runs into this very small, very scared child. He’s stupid and soft and when she said she was trying to escape someone he instantly picked her up and booked it back to the others.

The dude kicks down the door and it’s like that one scene in iCarly but instead of a smoothie he has a plan for murder.

Everyone just instantly takes to liking Eri and she takes to liking them. (Once she accidentally calls Dabi dad and Toga literally refuses to let him live that down)

But ofc they can’t just,,, raise a literal child. They’re barely surviving on their own. So they do eventually send her out to find a hero and get a better life (Shocker: the hero she finds is Izuku and canon begins to take place)

Everytime they see Eri out in public they wave from wherever they’re hiding and she gets super happy to see them.
