Red eyes gleam in the darkness when the princess pushes her away, leaving Thuringwethil hungry and longing. 

"Come on, sweet thing," she lilts and licks fresh blood off her lips. "Let me have another bite. I will make it worth your time, I promise." 

Her bloody grin is met with twilight grey eyes twinkling with determination. Lúthien takes one step closer, raising her chin in defiance and baring her teeth in return. 

"No. My turn."

Thuringwethil wants to laugh; the notion of a pretty Elven princess biting her back amuses her. 

Until Lúthien's teeth break the skin of her neck.

AU where Luthien is a prisoner in Angband — except Melkor isn’t interested in doing anything naughty with her, and he keeps her there because he wants to use her as leverage in the war against Thingol and Melian. And he had zero reason to think the plan wouldn’t work… until Thuringwethil, whom he assigned to watch over Luthien, fell in love with her and eventually helped her escape.

When the two of them reach Doriath, Luthien introduces her vampire-Maia girlfriend to her parents. And Thingol probably wouldn’t be too thrilled about this news and would be pretty suspicious of an ex-servant of Morgoth — but he can’t throw out the person who saved his child.

Melian would probably just shake her head and mutter: "Like father, like daughter"
