7, 8 and 15 for the destiel asks!

7. What made you start shipping Destiel? What’s the story?

The first time I went “hmm...” was 4.07 It’s the Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester, when Cas admits to Dean that he “has doubts” but it didn’t really strike me until a few episodes later, when we get Anna telling Dean that angels have to have complete and utter faith, or else they’re killed. That means Cas shared one of the most intimate and private thoughts he’s ever had in his millenia with Dean and they had known each other for, like, a month at that point. WOOF.

But what really, really did it for me was 2.16 On the Head of A Pin. Cas telling Dean he would give anything not to have him go back to torturing. Cas feeling for the first time. Dean admitting to Cas that he’s not strong enough to be their Righteous Man. Powerful stuff. That’s what sent me over the edge with them. And then two episodes later, we get Cas rebelling for the first time, for Dean? Whew. Takes my breath away. 

8. What is/are your favourite episode/s for Destiel?

HAAAAA STRAP IN. i’ll just give, like, my top 10 because otherwise we’ll be here all week. 4.16 On the Head of A Pin, [stefan voice] this episode has everything 5.03 Free to Be You And Me, their dynamic is so MUCH here 5.04 The End, endverse!dean and endverse!cas were fucking, periodt. 5.18 Point of No Return, that whole episode is just a couple at a family dinner who are in a fight and are gonna make it everyone’s problem 6.20 The Man Who Would Be King, don’t look at me. 8.08 Hunteri Heroici, dean cares about cas SO MUCH 1210 Lily Sunder Has Some Regrets, the fighting couple returns, this time with more married energy 13.06 Tombstone, just pure married energy 15.09 The Trap, Dean’s prayer lives rent free in my head 1518 Despair, The Confession TM ++1520 Carry On, ~*~manifesting~*~

15. Any fave headcanons, comments, or anything else you want to share about Deancas?

Okay, here’s another headcanon, Cas picks a guitar up from a secondhand shop when they’re in town one day, just kind of idly. He’s mostly thinking about maybe cleaning it up and giving it to Claire or something but then it’s just around the house and one day, Dean tunes it and Cas is like ??? I didn’t know you could play? And Dean is like “Not really. Youtube videos. I just mess around.” And then Cas is like there are YOUTUBE VIDEOS on HOW TO DO THINGS. And he goes on youtube and teaches himself the basics and Dean hears him and he’s like, oh, yeah, we have time now? I could....learn how to play guitar? And he picks it up again and he and Cas like help each other and sometimes in winter evenings when they’re by the fireplace, or summer mornings, when they’re having their coffee outside, one of them will pick up the guitar and pluck out Simple Man or I Walk the Line or, if your Cas and like tormenting your husband, Britney Spear’s Toxic.
