Narrator, you don't have to listen to what anybody is saying to you. By reacting, you are giving them ammunition to keep coming back and saying more things to you. You're giving them the keys to your own frustrations. Why not just ignore them? Either that or just say, "Yep!" and move on. Trust me, it confuses the hell out of folks!
Of course you could always ignore me and tell me "Yep!".
I liked the story you were narrating for me! I hope we get to finish it and that we find Stanley! Merry Christmas, Narrator!
Thursday @parables-for-days
A hologram of a dishevelled man flickers into existence near Thursday glowing with red and holding a mini lightning in his hand.
"Don't say I didn't warn you, Anonymous. You should have listened and stopped with your ridiculous—"
He trails off, blinking rapidly in confusion and hides his lightning behind his back, awkwardly. He glitches out a little, now glowing with yellow.
"... Are you aren't them?" he wonders as he circles around her. "Are they not you? Well, to think of, I can't imagine them taking off their gray mask and telling me to ignore them, that is too irrational even for someone like Anonymous. Hmm… so it must be you then, Thursday. It better be. Er, Merry Christmas to you too—wait, what? Is it Christmas? How would that happen so soon? We don't even have seasons here! … Or do we now?"
