"May I have this dance, babygirl~?"
At first, Rex thinks Eric's talking to Orion.
He, Eric, Flynn and Delilah have been meeting up in the museum at Dad!Jon's to learn how to dance for some reason, and this time Orion dragged Rex along.
Maybe he thought he needed something to do, besides sharpening his knives and reading sci-fi novels?
So Rex has been leaning against the wall for the past twenty minutes, watching Flynn trip over his own feet and Orion spin their twink around, trying not to laugh at any of them.
How utterly ridiculous. Never in a million years would anyone get him to make such a fool of himself like that in front of-
Rex realizes that Eric is looking directly at him, his eyes full of amusement, mouth twisted into a small smirk.
"No." Rex says instantly.
"Awww," Eric's smirk grows and Orion next to him smiles as well.
"Why not? Afraid you can't keep up?" He teases gently but Rex can tell he's trying to rile him up. "It's alright we're all beginners here. Except Delilah, I think but well, she's a princess."
"I don't dance. Not like that." Rex says haughtily. "Now if you're offerin to fist fight-"
"I would still win." Orion cuts in. He deliberately places his hand on the dip of Eric's waist (that twink has very grabbable everything, hair, ass, hips-) and gives Rex another smug look as if to say, this is what you're missing out on.
It takes only a second for Rex to change his mind.
"Okay, fine." He growls, getting up like he was always planning on dancing in front of an audience. Ignoring the pleased looks, he pushes Orion away and takes his place, grabbing Eric around the waist perhaps a little too eagerly.
"I can dance." He says, to no one in particular. "How fucking hard can it be to move to fuckin music?"
