‘Dynamight’ doesn’t sound like something Katsuki came up with... I don’t strike him as a pun person much. Might be wrong but idk.

However, ‘Great Explosion Murder God’ DOES sound like something he would come up with. Obviously we saw his first two ideas and how similar they were. SO, I think Dynamight is a name Izuku came up with when they were kids.

Think about it, Izuku would’ve been over the moon when Kacchan got such a cool quirk... and we know he canonically made up his own hero names as a kid and most of those names paid homage to All Might, so it’s not too far fetched to think Deku came up with the name Dynamight and Katsuki was just too thick headed to admit that it’s a dope name (until he realised how much their relationship had evolved into smth unique), pun and all.

I like to think Bakugo stuck ‘Great Explosion Murder God’ onto the front so he doesn’t have to admit to people that Deku was the one who came up with his hero name.
