Handmade cameras by Miroslav Tichý (1926 — 2011). Tichý would make from scratch or repair old cameras with shoeboxes, toilet-paper rolls, plywood, plexiglass, etc. and polish the lenses with toothpaste and cigarette ash. Of his technical methods, Tichý has said, "First of all, you have to have a bad camera", and, "If you want to be famous, you must do something more badly than anybody in the entire world."
