Okay, so the ticket pocket thing, romantic as it would be, was always clearly coded to be not true: since we get it from Dreamstat, who says that Louis didn't know it. It's a sweet little hallucination and a heartbreaking scene, but clearly not a thing that Lestat ever did or said.
But also. Um. Louis has two forms of his name, both in wide use, different characters at all points in the timeline use both "du Lac" and "de Pointe du Lac" forms.
So if the ticket pocket thing had been real. There's a 50-50 chance that the initials would have just been LdL. Which are also Lestat's own. Like. Monogramming your suits is a little eccentric but I'm certain tailors do it not all that rarely. Lmao
