ok so for the au specifically when it’s our domain what happens

I think a big part of why kurloz and clorad become so close in what I imagine to be a short time is that clo actively wants kurloz to emote more than he was ever allowed to with other figures of authority, however vague that term is for his boyfriend who he loves

like if kurloz wakes up with a nightmare clo will talk to him about it and make sure he feels better before going back to sleep, and if he cries it’s fine and nothing that clo will comment on because that’s not something that needs comment

just like, not only them having mutual interests and getting along well, but clorad actively wanting kurloz to heal in any way from the things he’s gone through for the sake of just living a better life for himself, and kurloz being able to be soft and vulnerable and feel safe about it

idk just the general idea of kurloz who is So Tough deciding that they will be soft because it’s time for that and that clo would be supporting him as he learned how to do it

ok so I’ve been thinking about how or even if clo’s personal tragic history (tm) would be in the house husband au and I think it would be something where he just. wouldn’t bring anything about it up even to the point of avoiding that entire span of time when the Shit was happening

so one morning kurloz is up making breakfast for his clo bc he actually has the day off and they get to hang out, and clorad stumbles into the kitchen a good hour earlier than he normally wakes up on his own

clearly kurloz is like “what’s wrong” and clo just takes a few seconds before having grand sit down with him and looking at him Very Seriously like “I’m going to say something, and you have to promise not to do anything before you talk to me.”

and kurloz is like “wtf ok”

and clo explains that when he was fresh out of school he got a job at his current company as basically a drone, and while there one of his shift managers in his section took an interest in him and basically started hitting on him, and clo, being the foolish young person he was, thought it was just so cool that someone that Good in the company wanted to know him

they started a very lowdown secret thing but quickly moved in together, and everything was cool if tense until clo got a promotion, and then his down-low boyfriend started to get rowdy and controlling. it progressed as it does in most any au where he’s featured, and eventually clo managed to move by accepting an Immediate transfer to another sector and leaving practically everything he owned behind at his old apartment

and I imagine kurloz would have to be reminded not to just bolt and try to hunt this motherfucker down by clo, who would kind of lean on him and sniffle about a nightmare he had while kurloz pet his hair and told him it would Never Happen Again, Angel

I do say! I have this dumb AU of cirava being a camtroll and horuss buying a Private chat w them and completely on accident discovering their name/what they look like and being like "I Am So Sorry" even tho they like, fell off their bed or whatever n he saw, and taking them to lunch as an apology (they assume it's a highblood hush-up date) and just. having it be a very nice date. cirava Really enjoys themself on it and horuss is a gentleman and gets extremely blue when they talk about him being their best tipper like "ah, yes, you're,, very pretty" and then giving them a very gentle kiss on the mouth before dropping them off n cirava just. keeping in contact w him bc he's nice.
