Today marks my 9th Tidal Wheel class and halfway through the month of January. My goal for 12 classes per month seems highly likely at this rate. This past Saturday I reached a Tidal Wheel milestone: clicking in my shoes on the first try! If you’ve ever taken a Tidal Wheel class, you know that at the beginning, snapping in your shoes takes some getting used to. The more classes, I take, the more comfortable I feel bumping up the resistance when the instructors calls for it. I drink more and more of my water which means I must be working pretty hard. I’m coming to my month mark, where I have to make my decision to continue either monthly or per class. There’s no way I’m giving up now.
Since I’ve taken a break from Facebook, I’ve read/listened to 4 books already. My goal for the year is 24. I’m going to try to get through my backlog of books rather than being new ones. The only exception is Hoopla and OverDrive books. Maybe I should pause my Audible membership since I’m doing Tidal Wheel. Done! If I can hit 6 books for the month, it’ll be worth the social feed break! It’s definitely nice to focus on things I choose to focus on. Seeking information I want to seek out vs stumbling upon it. Less browse and more search. Instagram is the only feed I’ve been looking through. It doesn’t make me depressed or any other negative feeling. I think people should try a social break for a week or so. I think it’s good to cleanse the mind!
