A brow shot up as an unfamiliar blonde woman limped in. Usually that didn't mean any good. Whereas he was definitely one to let everyone mind their own business, he did manage to keep out an extra eye on those who seemed to need it. Not just because his establishment required such a thing, but because it was in his nature to help those who seemed to struggle with misfortune.
Practiced fingers scooped up two glasses while his other hand went for the bottle. He poured the order with all the ease in the world. "Having a rough day?" he asked, keeping his tone light. "That's usually what two vodka's mean. Want some food to stomach it down?"

Yelena laughed at the question. Then she let out the longest of sighs before meeting his gaze once again. "I think that might be one of the most dramatic over-statements in history" Yelena grinned. "How'd youmknow I'm a vodka girl?" It would be obvious if he could pinpoint her accent, obviously in Russia Vodka was more common than water. But he hadn't heard her speak yet. " You're one of those intuitive bartenders then? The one who everyone spills their guts to all the time?"
