For this year’s NaNoWriMo, I decided to finish a WIP I’ve had for a few months. I had 43k written prior to the first of the month and my progress so far has been pretty good! I’ve met my goal almost every single day so far and added about 13k to that total as of right now.
I’m thinking of publishing next Saturday and post weekly until I’ve finished the thing. I’ve commissioned a friend to make a banner and my beta reader is currently reading the first chapter so I’m pretty on track to do exactly that, I am just nervous to start posting something that isn’t finished cause my track record is not great with that so far...
Anyways, figured some writing updates would be a nifty thing to start doing, specifically cause we’ve reached the end of the first week of NaNoWriMo 🎉
AND considering it’s six sentence sunday, here’s a few sentence from the first chapter of Life Is Changing Tides:
“Madison. Her—The love of my life’s name is Madison,” Cassie said, smiling softly at just the mention of the name. “What about you?” She asked, her words slurred enough for Eddie to glance at the monitors around her.
“What about me?” Eddie asked.
“Only people in love would think this ridiculous plan is romantic,” she noted and Eddie let out a huff of laughter. The ambulance came to a stop but before Eddie could guide her out of the doors, she squeezed his hand. “What’s their name?” She asked again.
He wanted to say Shannon. He should have said Shannon. Instead, his mind supplied the true answer, one he couldn’t bring himself to say out loud.
