Century tanks, or TIE crawlers, were a type of vehicle used by the Empire. Preceded by TIE maulers, which were similar tanks but smaller and faster, the Century tank reused the center pod of a TIE fighter. Piloted by one, the Century tank was speedy and effective in combat, possessing the same chin blasters as a TIE fighter.
