New work photographed for the September issue of Southwest Airlines In Flight Magazine (and my cheesy mug featured in the contributors). I had the amazing opportunity to take the Chinese Historical Society's annual backpacking pilgrimage to Sing Peak. The 10,550 ft peak was named after Tie Sing. He was an incredible Chinese chef who cooked now legendary camp dinners deep within Yosemite/Sequoia using pack mules for influential groups of lawmakers and wealthy businessmen who could help unify the park service and save these special lands before they were lost to development and overgrazing. Big thanks to Desire Emespada for the assignment and Dane Pollok for being down to assist/climb a mountain with me.
