Needless to say, I am in love with him. lol When I first saw Les demoiselles, I instantly fell in love with EVERYTHING. The colors, the design, the camera work (ofc Catherine and Françoise), EVERYTHING, I was like, "This dude created my dream world I thought that was fricking impossible." 

I love how he references Lola in a couple of his film. I love that he brings back characters from older films into his other films. I love that everything has something to do with Nantes and the sea and HIS MUSICAL RELATIONSHIP WITH MICHEL LEGRAND JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL BECAUSE I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THAT SHIT PLAYING AS THE BACKGROUND MUSIC TO MY EVERYDAY LIFE. HELL YEAH PLAY THE LOVE CAKE SONG WHILE IM COOKING. C'EST MOI LOLA ALL DAY BABY. 

And can we just talk about fricking Peau d'ane?! BECAUSE I MEAN. BRILLIANCE. DAKLSDGASLGHJFLDGH AND UMBRELLAS. IT HAUNTS ME EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE.

When Criterion released the box set I thought I was going to actually have a heart attack. I was pointing and screaming at my screen like a child. 

And I think that's what I love about him? He brings out a child-like essence to several of his films even though they sometimes deal with dark subject matter (my father wants to marry me/robberies/murder/i'm making this sound really bad). It's a rare quality to find, I think.

That’s so strange, I didn’t know it did that. I had to use xkit to hide the recommendations b/c I kept getting selfies recommended to me???? Why????????

ohh i should try blocking them. hmm, that's so weird! some of the recommendations aren't bad, but now i just don't trust the system tbh
