Social media are useful instruments for fostering collaboration, improving communication teaching and learning abilities, and facilitating communication. Despite their conceptual differences, ICT and social media are intertwined and inextricably linked, and they converge when mobilized as resources for a process that entails altering social patterns of a society and can involve economic development, political progress, and more.
