As the popularity of social media rises, many people and country is utilizing the social media to their advantage. This advantages offers help to the people that are in dire need of technology. One of those who helped by the technology is the people who are not able to access information beacause of their place. Social media helps this people access financial management, health support and most importantly education. This lad to more people becoming knowledgeable about the different aspects of the country. And now poeple are using social media to promote tourism in their country, another is building relationships to the other nations as well as marketing the different products and resources each country offers.
2. Should international policy makers and organizations concerned with economic development and human rights embrace social media as tools for achieving those ends? How should social media fit into the broader context of ICT?
Yes, with the rising case of fake news nowadays and the rising teenage users in different social media that are expressing their different ideas and views it is right for someone to supervise. Although theoretically speaking, ICT and social media is different, they are intertwined and connected to each other. In recent years there has been a groundswell of interest in how computers and internet can best be harnessed to improve social communication at different levels, this statement is a proof that you can use ICT and social media to further improve your computer knowledge skills.
