Welp for the first time in months, I actually became motivated and inspired to draw! Well... It’s mostly doodles, but still! That’s plenty of progress in my book. Anywho, all these doodles are basically from my day to day life as of late. Much schoolwork, even more ACNH, and some lovely Calm the F*** Down Tea (as my roommate and boyfriend call it). >w<

Draco Luculentus

The bright, vibrant colours of this infant dragon are more than just adorable. They are a sign to warn predators away. And it's a good thing, too. Newly hatched dragonets are tiny, while their parents are no larger than a house cat.

Nests are built in gardens, and the babies hatch when the flowers are in full bloom, giving them a better chance of camouflaging amongst the petals while their parents are gathering food.

The Luculentus' main diet consists of raspberries, strawberries, and sugar peas, but gardeners delight at having these little creatures nesting under their flowers because they keep the aphid and snail populations in check.

Males have silver horns and talons, and are slightly smaller than the females, who have gold.
