Empire Inward Release Show/10 Year Anniversary Feb 23

Tight Phantomz "Waiting For" music video

Tight Phantomz, the rock band led by Chicago underground recording stud Mike Lust (see William Elliott Whitmore, Russian Circles, Ten Grand), have released a new music video for "Waiting For."  The video was directed by Brendan Leonard and features shots of Chicago's Empty Bottle as well as a $1000 bear costume.  The song comes from their upcoming double album Silk Prison, which will be released via Forge Again Records on November 20, 2012.  You can still listen to the full album stream by checking out last week's articles.

Here is the second part to the Tight Phantomz album stream for Silk Prison.  This disc is my favorite of the two with the amazing shredding of "Sickening" combined with the poignant pop of "Silk Prison," "Lonely Life," and "Time Flies When Yer Not In The Who."  Definitely take the time to listen to this classic Chicago underground rock band.  You can still listen to part one here as well.  Silk Prison is set to be released via Forge Again Records on November 20, 2012.

Chicago hard rock act Tight Phantomz have posted an album stream for part one of their 30+ song album Silk Prison.  The band expands upon the heavy-hitting-70s-rock-meets-punk sound that their last album had to include some bedroom pop styled jams.  Tight Phantomz is a band led by recording engineer Mike Lust (Russian Circles, Ten Grand, William Elliott Whitmore).  My recommended track is "Wasted Orchard."  Forge Again Records will be releasing the record(s) on November 20, 2012.
