Confidence was not her strong suit. Waltzing around like a fake superhero in a tight costume with no clue how this whole superhero thing worked wasn’t helping either. It was hard to get back on her feet after the war, even harder to dig deep inside the dregs of her heart and realize that she wanted to help people. So far, helping people, as per the advice of the internet, looked like tight costumes and using superpowers. That, at least, she had covered.
It was pure bad luck that she accidentally happened on some super villain, who it was she couldn’t tell, robbing a bank. Her plan of freeze them until she could call the police would have worked really well, up until she began to get shot at. The realization that she didn’t have a way to fire back without setting the place ablaze hit her and Blythe ended up with her back against a wall. So much for a great first day.
